Support computations and analysis originating from the Tax FP&A and Non-US provision group. This entry level position will maintain and update models, work cross functionally with other business units and assist with process improvement and other technology initiatives. ResponsibilitiesAssist with updating and maintaining tax planning and forecasting models for the CompanyAssist with cause of change analysis (including effective tax rate and cash taxes) for tax forecastsSupport management with the assumption gathering process, including accounting and tax researchAssist with developing and executing the financial and accounting processes and functions in alignment with the Corporate Tax Department.In addition, the analyst will support projects in the following capacity:
- Provides and creates reporting for overall tax transactions and analyses supporting the Corporate Tax teams as needed and/or directed
- Researches and identifies issues and trends for tax reporting
- Provides analysis of forecasted and projected tax exposure
- Assists in recommending automation opportunities within the Tax Department
- Proactively takes initiative to complete tasks and implement solutions to resolve issues
- Supports and customizes reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to assist with tax analysis
- Executes controls and documentation of systems and processes
Basic Qualifications0- 2 years work experience with financial, accounting or tax, preferably in a large SAP installationExperienced in using the Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Preferred QualificationsExperience working for large company and within a matrix organizationExperience in using SAP or another ERPExperience in using Business Objects and/or Cognos reporting toolsExperience developing and delivering end user trainingExperience implementing financial processes and systemsExperience using systems designed to manage issues, changes and testing (e.g. Service Manager, Rational Team Concert, ALM)
Required Education Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or Equivalent
Preferred Education CPA or CMA license, or equivalentPMP or other professional project management certification
