Summary of Position: The Sarasota/Palmer Ranch branch office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to be responsible for the clerical duties in the office. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Branch Manager as well as the Sales Associates. Responsibilities include collecting associate payments, process listings, sales and closings.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Meet and greet customers and guestsReceive, screen calls, and refer calls to appropriate personSort, distribute mail - including overnight and express packagesMaintain a professional level of phone etiquette and mannersResponsible for look and feel of the lobby areaProcess listing inventory of listed propertiesProcess invoices for payments Process Escrow and commission checks Maintain files and records
Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum Associate degree in related field or 5 years of equivalent clerical experience preferably in the real estate arena
Physical Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. Additional Requirements: Experience using office equipmentExceptional communication and customer service skillsComputer skills - word, excel, and outlook
